INSTRUCTOR

Pamela Richardson has been training in martial arts, predominantly Taekwondo, for nine years and has volunteered at the Stratford Richardson YMCA in Charlotte NC as a Taekwondo instructor for the past five years. She is a member of the National Women’s Martial Arts Federation (NWMAF) through which she has learned to teach self-defense classes that address the emotional, psychological, and physical aspects of self-defense. She teaches women’s self-defense in the Charlotte area.

When Pamela is not training or teaching Taekwondo or self-defense, she writes poetry and works at UNC Charlotte as the Assistant Director of Building Educational Strengths and Talents, a federal TRIO Student Support Services program.
